One of the coolest hand held systems ever created, in our opinion was Nintendo's Game Boy Advance Micro.  This unit possessed many features that simply worked.  It was super compact, could be played in daylight or nighttime, long battery life and most importantly, it's processing power allowed it to play intense 2-D graphic games, such as Final Fight.  It's a bit crazy to say, but this little unit in 2-player simultaneous mode (via link cable to another GBA unit) had less slowdown (if any at all) in Final Fight compared to it's arcade counterpart, with the same amount if not more sprites onscreen. 

 

 

What's significant about this little unit is that Nintendo made a 20th Anniversary Edition, with the retro gaming design from the box cover and artwork down to the system itself.  This is a JAPANESE imported unit, which is quite rare as these were never seen stateside and are no longer sold.  You can find various GBA units in English format, but rarely the 20th Anniversary.  Furthermore, the GBA used a full metal body giving it a sturdy look and feel, so this item is rock solid.  With improved backlighting and LCD screen, the image is crisp compared to the GBA SP units.  This unit is simply gorgeous!
