While the term 'consolizing' a system is not technically a part of the English language, it has been recently accepted by the technical gaming community as a procedure where a person converts a arcade motherboard into a home console (or for home use on consumer televisions that have the standard inputs). 

 

The difference between our modded Atomiswave versus many others out on the market is that ALL of our systems are purchased as a NEW system, not used.

 

Sammy/Sega's Atomiswave System remains one of the most difficult systems to consolize or modify for home use due to it's extreme compact size within it's casing.  Because of this reason, most of those who have tried to modify this system have encountered numerous issues, video interference being the most evident, which left less than desirable results.  Furthermore, anyone who has attempted or successfully consolized an Atomiswave can also tell you how time consuming this is, compared to say a NEO•GEO modification.

Pictured below are the power port and video/audio outputs.  Unlike most, if not all Atomiswave consolized systems out there, the component video output here is active and isn't there just for decoration.  This output gives the best possible analog video signal, far superior to RCA or S-Video. 

 

 

 

With a 15-pin controller output, there are plethora of control pad and joystick options.  A Sega Genesis control pad can be modified for the systems use or if you already own a NEO•GEO joystick or control pad, the "SELECT" button acts as the fifth button used in certain fighting games. We will be offering custom joysticks (sold separately) within the next few weeks for this system. For most Atomiswave games, a standard NEO•GEO control pad or stick will perform just as well.

As shown above, the Neobitz Board Version 2 adds RGB controls to the unit to allow precise calibration of each primary color level.  While there are other systems sold on the market with this feature, the installation of it's location made it inconvenient and not accessible unless one had to flip the unit over.  With our unit here, the knobs are large, easy to see and most importantly, located in an area that make it accessible. 

 

The $30.00 increase in the price of this unit to our first version is due to the increase in modification labor and cost of materials of newly added upgrade. 

 

Revision 2.5 adds the LED indicator to let you know your Atomiswave Consolized System is on.
