Cave 'Black Label' titles represents not only the limitation of it's production, but also the programmers fine tuning of the game play within the game, the added difficulty, added weapons and revamped AI system.
Anyone familiar with Cave shooters know two things about them. They arguably make the best shooters title after title and secondly, when they release a 'Black Label' title, it's extremely limited in production. In normal circumstances, only 100 kits are produced and this is the case for Ibara Kuro: Black Label.
The kit(s) we're offering are 100% original and came from the initial run. As you can see from the pic, the Ibara Black Label sticker on the box signifies it's official title. For those interested in some Cave facts, some have rumored that a second run was produced without the Black Label sticker on the box, but we have confirmed that this is not true. Without the sticker, the box is NOT an original Black Label box and was pieced together using another generic Cave/AMI box to form the kit.
If you look hard enough you will certainly find someone offering one of these kits; however, up until now, you wouldn't have been able to find the kit with the Official Ibara Kuro: Black Label poster. The significance of this poster is that, this is the first time it's been released by Cave and could only have been purchased with the kit(s). Cave did pass out some of these posters to some of it's bigger distributors in Japan, but in very, very limited quantities. Many of these distributors then passed them out to local arcade shops which displayed them (ouch!) for all to see. Hence, getting just the poster, in MINT shape is nearly impossible or a tough task at that.
At this time, we can only offer the poster with the kit only. Quantities of this kit is extremely limited and you may never find this kit again, especially brand new, never used.
